And
now, the newest thing, available now, May 2007, the audiobook of
Bloody Jack!
Narrated
by Katherine Kellgren

A
word from Jacky, her ownself:
"What
a wonderful performance! Katherine Kellgren sounds just like me-
in my younger days, of course - brash, bold, and full o' Cockney
cheek! It's six CD's, unabridged, every bleedin' word, includin'
the bad ones, and eight hours long. What better way to drive your
family crazy on a long car trip? I can hear them them now... So
this is the sort of trash you've been reading, kid? Well, rest
assured, young lady, we will be keeping a much closer eye
on your book purchases from now on!"
"The
cost is $35
postpaid
and I know that's a lot of money, but with your order you also
get free one of the signed prints shown down below of me in the
riggin' playing on me pennywhistle when I was just a little bit
of a ship's boy on the dear old Dolphin."
Ms
Kellgren's bio:
Katherine
Kellgren has appeared onstage in London, New York, and Frankfurt.
Her recent work includes everything from the role of Laura in
a regional production of The Glass Menagerie, to appearances on
Comedy Central. She has recorded numerous plays and dramatizations
of novels for the radio, including winners of the Audiofile Earphones
Award and the Peabody Award. She is a graduate of the London Academy
of Music and Dramatic Art.
"So,
anyway, if you, yourself can't see your way clear to buy one,
start annoying your librarian... Cheers, Mates!"

Jacky
in the Rigging

"This is a signed print
of a detail taken from the original painting I did as possible
cover art for Bloody Jack when I was sending the manuscript
around trying to get it published. While the artwork was never
used as a cover, I still have a certain affection for it. It depicts
a very young Jacky who has just gotten on the Dolphin and
is shown straddling the foretopsail yard practicing her pennywhistle."
The prints are signed
and matted with an acid-free backing and will easily pop into
8"X 10" frames which are available anywhere. Shipped
U.S.Priority Mail.
$16 -postpaid
in the U.S.
We will
send a nicely framed version with glass and all, but that costs
$35 postpaid.
